You will work with our digital team to create effective organic and paid campaigns, help manage our clients’ CRMs, ensure the day-to-day success of our digital campaigns, train clients on using best practices in-house.You are/will be not only be eager to take on challenges, but also push yourself to learn more. Simply put, we are looking for someone who is willing to work hard for progressive causes they believe in and get sh*t done.

Progressive Promotions is a boutique, women-run consulting firm that specializes in  nonprofit/political communications. We choose projects that align with our values which ensures we love our clients and provide an individual approach to them. We love getting our hands dirty and creating unique communications strategies that go above and beyond for our clients. Possible Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement cutting-edge online communications and outreach campaigns, ensuring our clients’ online channels are operated in alignment with appropriate priorities, including growing the targeted audiences while amplifying key messages 

  • Manage clients’ online properties day-to-day, including social media channels, websites, and email programs

  • Draft compelling copy to inspire action and drive donations

  • Compile monthly analytics reports

  • Place, monitor, and evaluate media buys – establishing key performance indicators using data to make adjustments to optimize results and producing detailed reports 

  • Keep up to date with relevant news – determining how our clients can leverage trends as part of its communications strategy

  • Work with our Visual Communications Specialist to create effective media

  • Consistently use findings to inform best practices, taking calculated risks, and thinking outside of the box to drive results

  • Participate in internal and external messaging and strategy meetings

  • Recruit and manage paid digital engagement interns

  • Create your own work plan and take this job in the direction you want to go in your expertise

  • Bilingual (Spanish; English) with cultural competency

  • Training in or experience with the principles of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion with a strong understanding of their value to a progressive workspace and an unwavering willingness to let them guide your work and interactions

  • Strong writer who can capture and amplify our clients’ voices

  • Ability to manage multiple budgets, campaigns, clients, and creative resources at the same time

  • Experience with tracking analytics and finding actionable patterns

  • Google Ads, Google Analytics verification, Facebook Blueprint verification, or related Hubspot verifications

  • Demonstrated creative - and successful - engagement campaigns on social media platforms

  • Ability to develop and manage an editorial process, including working with team members to create supporting media

  • Experience placing ads through platforms like, Google, Facebook, Twitter, and DSP’s, developing target audiences, and tracking results

  • Use of tracking pixels and tags to track and target audiences

  • Ability to work with clients, including articulating how digital campaigns can deliver impact to broader objectives

  • Solid judgment skills for moderating social media conversations based on client direction

  • Ability to prioritize, work well under pressure, and take initiative under tight deadlines

  • Experience with digital tools and CRMs, like Action Network, EveryAction, NGP VAN, ActBlue

  • Some Experience with CSS and HTML

  • Knowledge of SEO and website development for effective landing pages 

  • Strong understanding of nonprofit and digital communications best practices; Colorado political landscape

  • Extraordinary attention to detail

  • Ability to be a part of a strong team, taking guidance from the Director, Digital Strategy and Creative while working closely with the Visual Communications Specialist, messaging team, and our contractors to create the most effective campaigns possible

  • Salary for this full-time position is $45K, other benefits include:

  • Workplace requirements

    • Monday morning staff meeting, weekly digital team check-in, & annual staff retreat

    • Track hours and project progress in project management software

    • 3 month, 6 month, and then annual evaluations

    • Flexible schedule that allows for longer days during the legislative session (January-early May) and August-early November during election years, followed by purposely slower periods of work for the office’s mental and physical health

    • Facing Racism class by Soul 2 Soul Sisters, if not a Black Womxn (tuition paid by us)

    • Openness to learning about the systems of oppression and your role in them that we, and our clients, fight against every day
