Earned Media Strategist

With decades of experience in public affairs, advocacy and communications for nonprofits and campaigns, Katie Reinisch is someone you want on your team.

Katie served as the Colorado House Majority’s communications director under Speakers Andrew Romanoff and Terrance Carroll. She has worked with women’s health organizations like Colorado Ovarian Cancer Alliance, Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains and Planned Parenthood–Miami, as well as advocacy organizations such as NARAL Pro-Choice America and Public Interest Research Groups in Colorado and Massachusetts. And even when the odds are long, she is energized by a good Democratic candidate, participating in countless campaigns from Paul Simon’s 1988 Presidential race to Colorado’s 2018 Gubernatorial race.

For three years, she owned and operated an ultimately unsuccessful frozen yogurt shop, proudly calling it “Katie’s Youth Employment Agency.” A Colorado College graduate and an active community volunteer, she is involved with several organizations, including the Colorado Coalition Against Sexual Assault and -- after the life-changing experience of coordinating a group visit to the Southern border -- Casa de Paz, a safe house offering support to people affected by immigrant detention.
