During the 2025 election season, we teamed up with Colorado Rural Voters to aid their organizing efforts to support the recall of the then-Montrose County commissioner, Scott Mijares.

Criticized from the beginning of his tenure, Mijares didn’t do himself any favors while fielding accusations of workplace toxicity, fiscal recklessness, citizen censorship, and generally hurting the reputation of Montrose County. Our digital team supported the recall effort by creating and placing ads in Montrose County, informing residents of their commissioner’s leadership or lack thereof.
In the end, half of Montrose County saw our message and the recall passed.
